A Letter of an Engineer: Addressed to everyone, You too..!!

Dear Everyone,

This is a Graduate Engineer talking or actually writing to you. I am not sure but I strongly feel this is what all of us have to say to the world. So if you’re a person who has never been to an Engineering college or has gone through the pain of going through 4 Years of irrelevant courses and papers to clear, you really need to read this. If you have, its all the more important you do. 

Do We Practice What We Preach??

While I was out Yesterday, I came across a very significant point raised by my friend, who is planning a blog post to his blog. He talked about how often we preach what we ourselves don't practice. I wouldn't point out the incident he went through for the fact to hit him, since it would give away the post, but it got me thinking as to how true it is.

How often do we say what we don't mean even for ourselves??

Preaching what we ourselves don't practice is one of the biggest lacunae that afflict the present system, and when you look at it, it starts with the self so often.

I had nothing which is running in my mind, but strangely, the fingers have an itch to type. Since this my blog and I can write anything I want to, I will do it. If you really want to read some relevant stuff, I am not sure if it will matter to you right now, there are some good ones I wrote early at the start. these include -

I do realize it’s been quite some time since I last posted anything here. Maybe it was September 2013 when I last did, and it was more of a formal quiz going on rather than anything else. It wasn't a form of expression I wanted it to turn out, so the inevitable couldn't have been avoided. The blog to me was to be more a source of expression rather than this stuff.

While the animals keep staring at you, it feels like a tough job knowing who is actually staring. Never looked that deep into an animal's eyes eh??

So, the eye series is back.. And we are still looking for some answers!! No one has been able to answer Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 correctly till now. Lets see who makes a change in part 4.

I was going through the internet today, and came to this.

This glaringly reflects the problems that plague our world, our mentality. One of the most shameful things that happen in the world, done by barbaric people continues unabated, since somewhere or the other we encourage it.

One of them even has her brother saying something. Breaks my heart.

Project Unbreakable is founded by 21 year old photographer Grace Brown.

In 2011, she started photographing survivors who faced sexual assault. The photograph just had to have the survivor holding up a poster where they quoted their attackers.

Up close to an Animal Eye: Guess the animal and Caption the photograph. Part 1

Beauty lies in the eyes... Really it does!! But how much beauty are we actually able to see?? So I decided to start off with a series of up close to the Animal Eyes for us to really appreciate the majestic beauty of eyes that have been talked about. After getting in touch with an award winning photographer friend (I’ll not disclose the name here), who loved the idea in the first week of August itself, we started working. Finally, we started off.

So the twist is, I’ll upload a photograph every day, and leave it open to guessing for you to do. Also, leave it open for captions. When the next photo is put up here, it will accompany the correct answer with the best caption to the last photograph. So here we start. Best of luck and remember…!! It doesn't really matter if get it correct... What matters is that you tried…!!
